Stunt man Justin Pearson

A professional stunt man has set up business in Manchester in response to the booming film and TV industry in the city.

Justin Pearson has worked on a number of high profile films including Skyfall, Star Wars and the Harry Potter series.

He is the latest tenant at the Sharp Project a unique project which is home to over 60 unique and innovative content creators, specialising in everything from VR gaming to CGI animation, app development to video production and digital forensics.
The stunt performer turned co-ordinator, Justin has been a part of the professional stunt performer industry for 20 years.

His recent work has been on the set of Sky’s drama series Curfew, where he was working in the stunt department. He has also been accepted onto the British Stunt Register.

Justin, who is originally from Shropshire, decided to re-locate his industry knowledge and experience and base himself in the North West as a result of the growing production industry in the region.

He said: ‘’It’s a great opportunity for me to be based at The Sharp Project. To be amidst the buzz of production in the North West is exciting.

“I’m looking forward to getting to know the tenants here and work on potential future collaborations.’’

Rob Page, Commercial Director of The Sharp Project, said: “We work with TV and film production companies on a daily basis, so to have niche and unique production offering such as Justin’s is a great asset to The Sharp Project.

“He is a great fit and we’re excited to add another creative tenant to our community.’’

Justin Pearson Stunts offer a range of stunt services including stunt doubles, stunt coordination and equipment.

Located in Newton Heath, Manchester, the £16.5million profit-for-purpose development is owned by Manchester City Council.
