Law firm on the move thanks to increase in business

196 Deansgate

Law firm  Farleys Solicitors is moving its Manchester office to larger premises due to an increase in business.

The firm has signed a 10 year lease at 196 Deansgate, taking 4,500 sq. ft. on the second floor of the building following its multi-million pound refurbishment.

The move comes following over ten years of consistent growth for Farleys in the city, having first opened as a satellite office in Parsonage Gardens 12 years ago.

Ian Liddle, Partner at Farleys said: “The move to larger premises is testament to our firm’s overall growth to date and our long term commitment to our staff, our clients and Manchester.

“We look forward to continuing our growing presence alongside Manchester’s thriving business community”.

Farleys will move to the new offices in August.

A new cocktail bar is opening on the ground floor of the building which is next door to House of Fraser later this summer.

The £1.8m New York style bar and restaurant is to open in a prime spot in the centre of Manchester.

Indigo Planning, Gray Scanlan Hill, and GA Studio won planning permission and listed building consent for the conversion of the former Nevisport store.

The new venture will be the first opening across the Pennines for the ‘Manahatta’ brand – the native name for Manhattan.
Manahatta has two successful outlets in Leeds and this will be the third venture for Arc Inspirations which is set to invest £1.8m to transform 8,000 sq ft across the basement and first floor of the historic building.
