People on the Move: Far East Consortium; Scottish Pacific

Property conglomerate Far East Consortium (FEC) has strengthened its Manchester team with the recruitment of senior sales and marketing manager Andrew Bradley-Nixon.

FEC specialises in property development, hospitality and car parking ventures in Asia, Australia, New Zealand and the UK, and Bradley-Nixon joins as the group has entered into the Northern Gateway investment partnership with Manchester City Council to deliver over 15,000 new homes in north Manchester over the next 10 years.

Gavin Taylor, regional general manager at FEC Manchester, said: “We are delighted to welcome Andrew to our growing Manchester office, where he will be an asset to the business. Manchester is a fantastic city, where the market is thriving, and we are proud to be working in partnership with Manchester City Council to deliver so many new homes.”

Bradley-Nixon joins FEC with 12 years experience in property, having worked at Lendlease since 2012, where where he was responsible for developments in Manchester, York and London, and oversaw the sale of over 750 units.

As well as the UK, he sold units in China, Dubai, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore and Hong Kong.

With a head office in London’s Mayfair, and a regional office in Manchester, FEC is set to develop circa 21,500 homes, and 400 new hotel bedrooms in the next decade.

FEC recently launched MeadowSide, a development of 756 apartments and penthouses in Manchester city centre.

Ben Milner

Trade finance and invoice finance provider Scottish Pacific has appointed Ben Milner and Dan Gamble as the firm looks to support its growing UK operation and expand coverage for northern businesses looking to improve international buying power and growth potential.

Cash flow specialist Ben Milner joins from Scottish Pacific’s office in Melbourne as regional business development manager for the North of England. He brings with him over 10 years’ experience working with SMEs in England and Australia.

Predominantly helping growing businesses with their cash flow, Milner has also worked in the credit insurance industry protecting clients against bad debts.

In his new role, he will be responsible for working with intermediaries to deliver Scottish Pacific’s range of cash flow finance solutions to businesses across the North of England.

He is joined by sales and marketing coordinator Dan Gamble who has 10 years’ experience in commercial finance, having worked at a number of major banks and independent invoice financiers. He will focus on building brand awareness, strengthening the client experience and facilitating the team’s activities across all regions.
