Victrex sales up 8% in Q3

VICTREX, the North West high-performance polymers manufacturer, has reported a continued steady rise in sales.

The Fylde-based group, which serves the transport, industrial and electronics markets through its Victrex Polymer Solutions business, and the medical device manufacturing sector via its Invibio Biomaterial Solution division, said
third quarter sales volumes had risen 8% to 750 tonnes.

It added that this rise takes the year to date volumes to 2,184 tonnes, up  17% over the same period in the last financial year.

In a trading update from April 1 to date, Victrex said: “The company continues to perform in line with expectations.

“It remains in an excellent financial position with a healthy balance sheet, strong cash generation, and no significant changes in its financial position since March 31.

“Consequently we believe we are well placed to pursue future growth and investment opportunities across the business.”
