Severe delays on M6 Cheshire after collision

There are currently severe delays on the M6 southbound due to a serious collision which is closing two lanes between J17 (Sandbach) and J16 (Alsager).

Police are undertaking investigations at scene.

Traffic is passing the scene in one lane, however, due to the delays, road users are advised to plan ahead, leaving plenty of additional travelling time and to consider taking alternative routes where ever possible.
