German confectionery company moves to new Manchester offices

Real estate consultancy OBI has announced German confectionery business, Krüger, is set to move to New Century House, Progress way, Denton.

The company has taken the second floor (5,159 sq ft) at a rent of £15.25 on a five-year lease with a break at year three.

Krüger is a German confectionery company which has been established for more than four decades.

It manufactures and distributes chocolate products and has a growing team of 30 staff.

A Krüger spokesperson said: “This is a very exciting time for Krüger, over our 40 years in this business we’ve grown and changed.

“New Century House is the ideal place for our business to continue to thrive.

“We can see longevity in this office space and look forward to a future here.”

OBI advised Kruger on the acquisition of the office space and will also be carrying out the project management and design of the new office space.

Andrew Cowell, transactions and asset management at OBI, said: “New Century House is a great location, just outside of Manchester city centre with excellent transport links to Manchester city centre, Hyde, Ashton-under-Lyne and Stockport.

“We are greatly looking forward to continuing to work with, and support Krüger in the future as we manage and design their new space.”

The landlord for New Century House is Amerdale Investments LLP.
