The Manchester office of Mills & Reeve has appointed Charlotte Lewis to spearhead its commercial health offering in the North West.

Charlotte, who joined from Hill Dickinson in Manchester, has wide-ranging experience in advising healthcare clients in both the public and private sectors.

She has advised NHS Trusts, Clinical Commissioning Groups, NHS England and private healthcare providers on corporate/commercial structures, new care models and transformational programmes.

Charlotte also has expertise in working with technology and digital companies operating in the health and care sector and is looking to further develop this specialism at Mills & Reeve, which advises a significant number of these businesses.

She said: “I am delighted to join Mills & Reeve’s national commercial health team and I look forward to growing our Manchester-based practice.

“The firm is a leader in the health and care sector and works on some of the UK’s leading projects.

“The appointment is an excellent opportunity to further develop the commercial health, healthtech and life sciences offering in Manchester and the North West and build on the firm’s deep sector expertise in these areas.”

Independent commercial building consultancy firm Malcolm Hollis said it is pleased to welcome Matthew Higson to its Liverpool office.

He joins the team as part of the firm’s successful graduate recruitment programme.

Matthew Higson completed a Masters in Building Surveying in 2017 while working at Bemerton Consulting, within their building consultancy department.

Prior to that he undertook placements at CBRE and Oxton Property Consultants.

He joined the Liverpool office on May 21, 2018.

Malcolm Hollis will welcome 27 graduates from 15 different locations across the UK and Ireland in the Summer and Autumn of 2018 and the spring of 2019.

Graduates will join the firm as building surveyors, engineers, measured surveyors, and environmental specialists.
