Manchester-based workplace consultancy TSK has assisted national law firm Weightmans to invest in its people and environment in the Midlands with a complete refurbishment of its Birmingham office.

Partnering with TSK the firm has created a more collaborative workspace to support its people, provide the highest quality service to clients and continue to capture and retain top talent.

The new office provides a variety of workspaces and the latest technology.

Richard Osborn, Weightmans partner and head of the Midlands offices, said: “We’re thrilled with the results of out office refit, designed with our clients’ comfort and requirements at the forefront of our minds.

“Our new lease and office space have firmly renewed our commitment to the Birmingham market and the continued provision of quality legal service – we look forward to welcoming our clients and contacts in the near future.”

TSK provided a range of services, including workplace consultancy, interior design, fit-out, furnishing and filing support.

The team was briefed to create a working environment that supports agile working and, consolidating the firm’s space from three floors to two, supports a more collaborative culture and encourages an integrated, ‘one team’ ethos.

TSK reimagined the 14,000 sq ft ground floor area – a task that requires considerably more thought for a law firm, taking into account appropriate security and privacy measures to protect confidential and sensitive information.

Account director at TSK, Tim Crane, said: “Weightmans is a leading national law firm with a focus on its people, the success of which is evidenced by its top employer accolade for the 11th year running.

“The firm was very clear on the fact that the primary objective of this project was to support its people – we’ve designed and delivered a space that does just that.”
