Northern business leaders join Rugby League World Cup 2021 Business Club

Several senior business figures from Yorkshire and the North West have joined the newly launched Rugby League World Cup 2021 Business Club.

The club has been established as part of the tournament’s commercial strategy to facilitate networking, discussion and knowledge share with the aim of establishing corporate best practice and to support the commercial partnership and acquisition programme.

The club will meet on a quarterly basis to discuss a range of opportunities for the tournament at that particular time, including marketing and commercial decisions.

The group’s members cover a range of backgrounds, with a focus on transcending the core Rugby League community.

“We have a huge appetite to immerse ourselves in this ever changing environment and in doing so engage with as many different communities as possible to ensure we deliver our ultimate aim – to deliver the best Rugby League World Cup of all time.

“We held our initial RLWC2021 Business Club meetings recently and the debate amongst our members was eye-opening, already delivering some fantastic ideas that will help us shape some key decisions in upcoming months. I’d like to thank those who have joined the club and look forward to their continued input.”
