Business booming for new beauty brand

A new, Bury-based skincare brand has seen retail sales rocket to more than £1.8m in its first year of trading. Skin Academy launched in January this year and in just 11 months has won major national retailer listings. The brand looks set to hit close to £2m in turnover by the end of 2018. The company currently employs 20 people and specialises in a range of skincare products, including face masks, moisturisers and gel eye patches.
