Growth boost for outdoor advertising firm

A COMPANY providing outdoor advertising space around Manchester and  Wembley Stadium, is set to expand after sealing a £1.85m funding package.

Trafford Park-based MediaCo Outdoor, which was set up in 2009, is being backed in its growth plans by Nat West.

MediaCo Outdoor produces, manages and sells external media and advertising rights on behalf of its clients. It has recently won contracts with Manchester City Council and the owners of the Wembley Stadium site.
  
In its 10-year deal with the council MediaCo Outdoor is developing an innovative and dynamic portfolio of around 40 back-illuminated and full digital LED advertising displays at key council-owned locations across central Manchester.

 The displays have been designed in collaboration with celebrated designer Peter Saville. 

The company has also agreed a 10-year deal with Quintain Estates and Development to manage the outdoor advertising and media rights on the 87-acre Wembley City site, home to Wembley Arena and the Wembley National Stadium

Managing director Mark Wardle said: “The comprehensive range of outdoor display and advertising solutions that we can offer has been well received by the market and we are confident of further growth in this area.

“As the business develops and secures new contracts access to working capital is essential.  The facility we have agreed with NatWest gives us this capability.”    

MediaCo Outdoor is part of MediaCo, one of the leading large format print and graphics companies in Europe.
