Landmark Manchester hits topping out milestone
Barings Real Estate, part of Barings LLC, has announced that Landmark Manchester, an 180,000 sq ft office development under construction in Manchester’s central business district at St Peter’s Square, has reached a major development milestone with its topping out ceremony.
Landmark is being undertaken by Barings on behalf of an institutional investor.
The ceremony was held on December 6, to celebrate reaching a pivotal stage in the construction of the Grade A, BREEAM Excellent office building, which is due to be completed in Summer 2019.
Offering 14 floors of virtually column-free office space built around an offset core for maximum flexibility, Landmark will provide occupiers with cutting edge office accommodation alongside world-class professional and technological capabilities.
The topping out ceremony was attended by members of the wider project team, including award-winning London-based architects Squire & Partners, acclaimed lead contractor Bowmer & Kirkland, development manager Castlebrooke Investments, Gardiner and Theobald as project manager and leasing agents CBRE and Colliers International.
