Family to the fore at high-level panel discussion

Manchester Hall is the venue for the panel discussion

Family business matters will be the focus of a high-level panel of business leaders and experts early in February, next year.

TheBusinessDesk.com has organised a breakfast seminar, at Manchester Hall, Bridge Street in Manchester, on February 6, from 8-10am, which is free to attend, and also includes breakfast.

Supported by Hall Brown Family Law, Business Growth Hub and Pannone Corporate, the panel includes an impressive array of speakers who are experts in their field.

Rachel Clacher is the co-founder of Moneypenny, together with her brother Ed Reeves, which has grown to become a leader in offering telephone answering and outsourced switchboard services.

She also set up the WeMindTheGap charity which gives new opportunities in life and work to unemployed under-served young women in the North West.

Alongside Rachel will be Fiona Graham, director of external affairs and policy at the Institute for Family Business, together with Neil Curtis, managing director of B&M Waste Services.

Our panel also features James Brown, partner and founder of Hall and Brown Family Law, and Jane Shaw, who is director of private client and family business at Pannone Corporate LLP.

Topics under discussion include: Planning for the future and managing succession; managing growth; staff engagement and staff attraction; and wealth protection and managing shareholder relationships.

The discussion will be part of a week of articles, commentary and features focusing on the main issues, challenges and opportunities faced by family businesses.

The event is free to attend. To book, please visit here.
