CEG, represented by real estate advisor Savills, has let office space at Altrincham Business Park to consulting engineers, Richard Allitt Associates.

The firm, established in 1996 to provide specialist hydraulic modelling services to the water industry, has agreed a new five-year lease for the 932 sq ft space, which is situated on the first floor at unit 10 of the park’s Edward Court.

CEG has managed a £1m refurbishment of the park, improving landscaping, refurbishing the onsite management office, upgrading office specification and will soon deliver a new café and gym.

The RAA letting follows a number of deals completed in 2018 to Mint Bridging, Markris Media, B Squared, BPSLP and McGoff Construction, totalling 19,083 sq ft.

Altrincham Business Park is the town’s most established business park, offering 85,000 sq ft of developed self-contained office space.

Surrounded by an array of retail and leisure amenities, the park benefits from being only two miles from the town centre with convenient access to the nearest junctions of the M56 and M60.

Andrew Cooke, associate in the office agency team at Savills, said: “The major refurbishment carried out last year reinforces Altrincham Business Park as the prime business park in the area.

“With its high-quality office accommodation in an attractive location, we’re pleased to have secured this letting for our client.”

Robert Morton, investment manager at CEG, added: “This latest deal confirms the business decision to manage the refurbishment of this asset. The high-quality space, coupled with new amenities such as café and gym, has appealed to a wide range of occupiers.”

John Hilson, director at RAA, said: “Choosing a strategic location for our Northern office base was critical to the success of our future growth plans.

“We are delighted with the refurbishment and amenities which I’m sure will help us attract talent and grow the team.”

Savills, Avison Young and Canning O’Neill are joint letting agents for CEG.
