Recruitment expert M65Jobsearch has expanded its team taking on four new staff members.

Natalie Hammond is business development manager, Rachael Ezzeddine recruitment consultant focusing on commercial, Kristina Milkontaite recruitment consultant, and Ugne Povilanskaite working on reception and research.

Global software services giant, Mobica, has appointed Wolfram Ries as its international VP of sales in automotive.

The company’s UK office is located in Wilmslow.

Ries will support the growth of Mobica’s automotive software development offering, particularly around in-vehicle infotainment (IVI), digital cockpits, telematics and navigation.

Wolfram joins the Mobica team from Luxoft, an international custom software development company, where he played an integral part in the development of its automotive technologies.

He brings more than 20 years’ experience in senior sales and business development roles for numerous international companies, delivering complex hardware and software solutions, consulting and services.

Haydock Finance has appointed Russell Mason-Hall as commercial credit manager, having held the role as senior underwriter with the company for almost five years.

This new role has been initiated at Haydock following the continued growth of its asset finance portfolio.

In order to meet business service and customer expectations, Russell will work closely with all stakeholders to deliver targeted service level agreements and further enhance best practice to assist with the efficient turnaround of new business proposals.

Ian Barr, credit & risk director of Haydock, said: “With our market share of asset-based lending continuing to increase in line with the company’s strategic objectives it’s important that we strengthen our team and associated infrastructure.

Jones Homes has promoted a long-serving land director to a group role, overseeing land acquisition in the three Northern regional offices.

John Hardy will be tasked with formulating and implementing land strategy across Jones Homes’ North West, Lancashire and Yorkshire divisions.

John, 33, joined the company in 2006 as a land buyer in the North West.

He spent three years working in the company’s Lancashire division before returning to the North West as land manager.

John progressed to become divisional land director in 2015 before recently taking on his expanded role.

He said: “Planning process and land purchase is a complex area of the business which is crucial to the success of any development. My role is to ensure Jones Homes buys the right parcels of land in areas where people will aspire to live.

“Having spent 13 years with the company, I understand the locations where Jones Homes customers want to live.”

He added: “It is an exciting time for the company as it continues to expand. It is a privilege to play such a pivotal role in Jones Homes’ growth.”

John began his career in the property sector in 2004 as a management trainee, before moving to Jones Homes.

Baines Wilson has appointed Adam Turley as an intellectual property law specialist.

Adam joins as associate solicitor from a specialist intellectual property law firm in Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

He brings experience and expertise in all areas of intellectual property, including copyright, trade marks, designs and patents.

He has a strong track record in helping clients with the registration of trade mark and design rights, produces brand protection strategies and conducts intellectual property audits.

Additionally, Adam advises on the commercial exploitation of intellectual property rights (licensing, assignments, technology transfers and joint ventures) as well as enforcement and litigation services in the specialist intellectual property courts.

His appointment means that Cumbria and North Lancashire-based businesses can now access trade mark and design registration services without travelling outside the region.
