City centre bowling venue set to launch this month

Lane7 is set to open its doors in Liverpool this month, promising the city a unique bowling experience ‘like you’ve never seen before’.

The UK’s leisure and nightlife destination is bringing its quirky concept to the region and is getting ready to welcome guests into its newest venue.

Located in the popular Clayton Square area, the two-floor venue will provide a family-friendly offer by day before transforming into a nightlife spot combining bowling and an in-house bar with quirky attractions such as shuffleboard, retro arcade games and Glow Pong.

Operations director at Lane7, Rachel Lee, said: “We wanted to build a really exciting, unique space that respects the city we have come to and its surrounding area.

“We fell in love with Liverpool from our first visit and feel that our fiercely independent style will fit right in to the local area, making it the ideal choice for our next venture.”

She said: “The fluid and adaptable nature of our venues means that families can enjoy the facilities throughout the day but by night, Lane7 transforms into an alternative bar space welcoming some fantastic local DJs, with our talented bar staff creating a selection of unique cocktails including alcoholic milkshakes, which always go down a treat.”

She added: “Liverpool feels like the perfect home for Lane7 as the city and the people here really encompass everything that the brand stands for.

“It’s been so exciting to see it all coming together since we first visited the location last year and we can’t wait to open the doors and show the public just what we have to offer – we’re confident that they will love what we have in store for them.

“We wanted to build an interesting space that really captures the attention of our guests and offers something that has never been done before – not even in our other venues.

“At the same time, it was important to us to respect the city and become seamlessly integrated into its vibrant entertainment and nightlife scene.”

Since opening its first site in Newcastle five years ago the brand has experienced significant growth and is set to expand with a further five locations opening in the next 18-24 months, making it the largest operator of its kind in the UK.

Rachel said: “Excitement has started brewing since our branded vinyls have appeared in the window of our Liverpool site, inviting the public to ‘strike a pose’ and share their snap on social media to win some fantastic prizes including a VIP invite to our launch night party.”
