Further £500k refurbishment planned at Cheshire industrial estate

Commercial property agents Legat Owen and B8RE have reported major success at Z2, Deeside Industrial Estate, where a £1.5m refurbishment programme has now completed with new occupiers secured and the announcement of further investment at the site.

The completed high-quality industrial and warehouse space at Z2 comprises seven units totalling 85,000 sq ft.

Among tenants to have signed up are Co-op Funeral Care, who have taken 10,000 sq ft on a 10-year lease, Luxury cheese maker and distributor Snowdonia Cheese, which has taken 20,000 sq ft on a five-year lease, and local joinery firm Corpalco, taking 10,000 sq ft on a 10-year lease.

Strategically located within the Deeside Enterprise Zone, within a Grant II Tier Assisted Area, Z2 has confirmed a further £500,000 investment to roll out the next phase of refurbishments, to commence in the second quarter of this year.

In addition, Site One at the entrance to Z2, is eight-acres and will feature high quality new bespoke logistics/warehouse for advanced manufacturing units with sizes ranging from 20,000 sq ft to 100,000 sq ft.

The park is located off the A548/A550 and two miles from the end of the M56, which provides access to the national motorway and road networks servicing North Wales and the North West.

Deeside Industrial Park, is recognised as one of North Wales’ premier industrial and manufacturing destinations.

Key occupiers include: Toyota, ConvaTec, Iceland, Magellan Aerospace, Mayr-Melnhof Packaging, Great Bear Distribution and Tata Steel.
