Metals stockholder bought in latest acquisition by entrepreneur

The corporate team at the Manchester office of Mills & Reeve has advised on the acquisition of Bury-based metals stockholder, Bornmore Metals, for an undisclosed sum.

Mills & Reeve and Cowgills corporate finance team advised entrepreneur Ian Griffiths on the acquisition of Bornmore through a newco vehicle, Image Investments.

Bornmore was established more than 30 years ago and is a major stockholder of an extensive range of non-ferrous metals.

Bornmore will join Ian’s portfolio of companies which include Blackburn-based steel service centre and processor, Steel Dynamics, and Eaves Infrastructure, which specialises in storage solutions for the nuclear sector.

The companies provide complete manufacturing solutions to the aerospace, nuclear, energy and chemical industries.
