Property firm appoints new boss for Liverpool office

Property firm Colliers  has appointed Sophie Attwood as head of its Liverpool Office.

Sophie joined Colliers in 2016 as part of its national rating division and will head the Liverpool team from its Exchange Flags offices in the heart of the city’s business district.

Andrew McFarlane, head of UK Regions for Colliers, said: “I am pleased to announce Sophie as the new head of our Liverpool office and the female head of a Colliers office in the UK.

“She will drive forward our business plan for the city region, working with the wider Liverpool team and colleagues across the Northern Powerhouse region to exceed the expectations of our clients and generate new relationships.

“Sophie has the experience and knowledge of the market to make a real difference in this role and I look forward to seeing the momentum that we have built over recent years grow further under Sophie’s leadership.”

Sophie has over 10 years’ experience in rating, working on behalf of clients throughout the North West of England and nationwide, including; The Co-operative Group, Mitchells & Butlers, WeWork, BT, SIG, The Restaurant Group, Hollywood Bowl, Tesla Motors, Lush, Belstaff, Reach, DWF and Signature Living.

Sophie said: “I’m excited to take on this new challenge. Having worked in Liverpool for the past 10 years, I know the market well and have an in depth understanding of what makes Liverpool’s business community tick.

“Throughout my career in rating, I have worked with influential players in the city to present cases at valuation tribunal, provide casework settlements, market rent valuations and reductions of rates liabilities for a range of businesses.

“I look forward to diversifying these skills and harnessing the extensive knowledge and experience of my colleagues across the region to drive forward our growth plans for the Liverpool office.”
