Works completed to transform empty Runcorn office space into quality homes

Castleview House

Work has just been completed to convert a long-term vacant prominent office building in Runcorn into quality apartments.

Castleview House, located on East Lane in Runcorn, was a deserted office building for nearly 10 years, but has been transformed into 248 apartments by developer, The Investment Room.

The first phase of works was completed last Spring and now work has been completed on the entire development.

The Investment Room’s sister company, The Lettings Room, has just released the second phase onto the rental market and the apartments are proving extremely popular.

All 248 apartments have been sold to investors and the mix of studio, one- and two-bedroom homes are being marketed to rent from £395 per month.

The development features landscaped grounds and communal courtyards and is within walking distance to Shopping City Runcorn, Trident Retail Park and Halton General Hospital.

Lee Jones, director of The Investment Room, said: “We are delighted to have completed the final phase of work and bring this empty building back into use.

“It’s in a great location and we have invested heavily to bring the building back to life and to create a great place for the tenants to live.

“The demand for such quality apartments appears to be high, given the uptake to date.”
