A fast-growing law firm has made the move into Manchester city centre.

Cheadle-based CFG Law is opening a second office in Spring Gardens, off King Street next month.

The new office will be home to around 20 staff.

The firm specialising in helping victims of serious injury to rebuild their lives and access essential rehabilitation and treatment, including funding treatment in advance of any settlement to enable clients to access medical help as soon as possible.

The new office comes as the firm also continues with an extensive recruitment drive to meet rising demand for its legal services.

Eight solicitors and paralegals have already joined the business this year and CFG Law aims to recruit more in both Cheadle and Manchester by the end of its financial year in November.

Chief executive Richard Clark said: “It’s already been a very good year for us and we’re excited to be moving into the heart of Manchester as we move forward with our expansion plans.

“We believe this second office will enable us to support the increasing number of injured people and their families who are coming to us for help and also grow our profile and reputation in Manchester and the North West even more.

“It will also help us attract more new people who want to work for a strong, growing business which prides itself on being different and working much more closely with clients to support them.”

CFG Law, named as Personal Injury Team of the Year at the Manchester Legal Awards in March, has taken around more than 1400 sq ft in the Origin building, with fit out work due to begin immediately.

The business currently employs 62 people at its office on Cheadle Royal Business Park, including 38 legal experts working with clients every day.
