Leading experts in cyber security will be speaking at a seminar organised by TheBusinessDesk.com.

With fines reaching record levels and new regulations in place firms need to more careful than ever before when it comes to protecting data.

And we have organised a special event in partnership with law firm CMS looking at the issues surrounding data protection.

The free event is being held in Manchester city centre and is open to businesses across all sectors and will explore what organisations need to do to understand and protect against the risks.

It will also cover what businesses should do in the event of a data breach and/or cyber crime.

The session’s themes will include:

Technology – risks and resilience. What companies need to do to robustly protect their networks and why.

Legal. An understanding of roles and responsibilities.

Practical. Basic steps companies can and should take to ensure that their procedures and processes are correct.
