Profits flat at marine engineering business
Profits have remained flat at marine engineering firm James Fisher over the last 12 months.
While revenues at the firm, which is based in Barrow-in-Furness, rose 10% to just under £270m underlying operating profit was steady at £24.5m.
In a six month update the firm said it had seen a strong performance in its offshore oil and tankships business.
It also invested of £52.2m in capital and new businesses.
