Special event will put Manchester’s economic resurgence under the microscope

A special event which will put Manchester’s economic resurgence under the microscope is being organised by the BusinessDesk.com.

The event is being organised in partnership with the law firm Shoosmiths and is being held at their offices in Spinningfields.

Business leaders and experts from a number of areas will be taking part in a seminar discussion in front of an invited audience.

The panel will examine how Manchester’s economy has grown in the last two decades and the factors behind the resurgence of the Northern powerhouse.

The experts will also look at which sectors have benefitted the most and the driving force’s behind Manchester’s success story.

Emma is the chief executive of the North West Business Leadership Team (NWBLT).
The NWBLT brings together leaders of national and international businesses with substantial commitments and interests in the North West of England.

Daniel Storer is an experienced director with 18 years of international business experience in Europe, Asia and the Americas.

He has a strong track record of sales leadership, delivering business growth and of developing productive, long lasting business relationships.

Neil Murray, is the chief executive of Impact Data Metrics.

IDM produces bespoke research, data and analysis about the UK regions and specific sectors. Clients include HM Government, local authorities etc. and large corporates/funds make big investment decisions
Neil is an experienced industry executive with a track record of building and growing dynamic businesses.

Ged Rooney has been with Bardsley for more than 13 years and is in charge of pre-construction with the firm.

The firm is more than 50 years old and is one of the best known in the North West. It has offices in Manchester and Leeds and has worked on schools, medical centres and leisure facilities.

Andrew Millar is a corporate partner in Shoosmiths in 2017. He has over 20 experience of working on regional and international deals, with a focus on M&A and corporate finance transactions.
