Communications firm appoints new head of technology

Outsourced communications provider Moneypenny has appointed a new head of technology.

Global Chief Technology Officer Pete Hanlon was previously at Moneysupermarket Group.

Pete joins with a wealth of experience in identifying innovative customer centric technical solutions having been at Moneysupermarket for six years and at Auto Trader where he worked for 10 years.

Moneypenny is the world’s leading outsourced communications provider, delivering telephone answering, live chat, switchboard and multichannel customer services.

The firm works with businesses of all shapes and sizes, from sole traders right up to multinational corporations.

In the UK, Moneypenny has over 700 staff, a figure that is growing at a rapid rate and has offices in Charleston in the US.

The company was founded by a brother and sister Ed Reeves and Rachel Clacher in 2000 and currently handles over 15 million customer communications a year for 13,000 businesses.
