Trafford Leisure seeks F&B operator for new Urmston destination

Trafford Leisure, represented by real estate advisor Savills, has brought to market a 1,500 sq ft food and beverage opportunity within the newly-regenerated Urmston Leisure Centre in Greater Manchester.

The leisure centre is currently being totally overhauled, extended and extensively refurbished to include a large fitness suite, modern changing facilities, a glass façade with a clip and climb wall, new exercise studios, swimming pool, sports hall and a sensory room.

The £7.2m pound redevelopment is due for completion in early 2020, and is part of Trafford Council’s overarching plans for leisure improvements across the entire borough.

The development of the new facilities focuses on delivering a complete leisure experience for the community to enjoy.

To complement the standout health and fitness facilities, Trafford Leisure is now seeking a local or regional partner to provide the primary food and beverage offer, with a focus on serving a healthy and balanced all-day family-orientated offer.

The opportunity will provide 1,500 sq ft of café space, 188 sq ft of kitchen facilities and more than 100 covers, with a fully-fitted counter and party space for children, and will be located in the centre’s central hub.

Located a mile from Urmston town centre and six miles south west of Manchester city centre, Urmston Leisure Centre is surrounded by an array of nearby amenities including Trafford Football Club, Chassen Road train station and an abundance of residential dwellings.
