Latest city centre bar set to welcome customers in business district idyll

Liverpool’s newest bar, Abditory, is preparing to open this Friday (November 1) in a back street idyll within the city’s main business district.

Meaning ‘a place to hide away’ Abditory is, in its own way, hidden away on Queen Avenue, Liverpool’s own ‘Diagon-Alley.’

It will serve up distinctive cheese toasties, great coffee, classic cocktails, beer and good times from 10am until late every day.

Located in the middle of Liverpool’s business district, Abditory says it offers a slice of old-fashioned hospitality with a dose of nostalgia thrown in for good measure.

“There are too many boring bars out there, so everything in Abditory is meant to have a sense of fun,” said co-director Steven Burgess.

“We have referenced and drawn inspiration from some of the best bars around the world and hope to create our own little piece of old school cool here in Liverpool.”

Fellow co-director Josh Moore said: “We are probably only round the corner from your office, so mix it up and come to us for your next client meeting or team get-together.”

Abditory will open on Friday, November 1, at 6pm.

It is the latest project brought to the city by Lucky Penny Consultants, which specialises in the hospitality sector.
