Apartment hotel brand, CitySuites, has opened the doors to its stylish new restaurant, Embankment Kitchen, specialising in modern brasserie-style comfort food in a luxurious setting.

With ex-Masterchef contestant Marika Healey heading up the kitchen, guests can expect a stylish bar and brasserie, perfect for breakfast through to dinner, for quiet business meetings, a quick catch-up coffee or a night of cocktails.

Located on Chapel Street, next door to celebrity favourite, CitySuites, the spacious bar area will be available for corporate event hire, as well as relaxed drinks and a screen for watching sports matches.

The 80-seater restaurant will host a chef’s table for up to eight diners, where they can enjoy a range of dishes from 28-Day Aged Hereford Fillet Steak, Wild Boar Pappardelle pasta, through to a range of bespoke superfood salads.

There is also a private dining and fully equipped meeting room which can be hired for up to 10 guests.

Open daily from 7am, the menu boasts a number of breakfast options from a continental breakfast buffet to a la carte options such as Eggs Benedict.

With speciality pasta dishes and Neapolitan-style pizzas sitting alongside grill and vegetarian classics, the menu caters for all.

Director of CitySuites, Gavin Bailey, said: “We’ve worked hard to make sure the concept and decor is perfect and we’re really looking forward to hear what customers think.

“Our head chef, Marika, creates modern, seasonal dishes using the freshest ingredients from carefully selected local suppliers. We’ve loved tasting the menu so it’s great to have the doors open.”
