Golf club planning expansion with help of six figure funding package
A golf club in Cheshire is planning to expand after agreeing to a six figure funding deal.
The Liverpool team at Allied Irish Bank provided a refinance package to support Frodsham Golf Club with its continued growth and the launch of a new club house called the Cow Shed.
Located on top of Frodsham Hill, Frodsham Golf Club is set amongst 130 acres of countryside with views of the Mersey Estuary.
It was first opened in 1990 and has recently undergone significant changes which are designed to improve facilities for members.
Located adjacent to the 18th hole the new Cowshed clubhouse takes its inspiration from being located on a former cattle farm.
The result is a contemporary and relaxing club house enhanced with décor of cows and fur hides
Paul Williams, Owner of Frodsham Golf Club explains: “We are very excited by the new changes at the club, especially with what we believe is the first all inclusive membership package for golf club members in the UK.
“Our aim is to provide a lifestyle experience for our members in relaxed and friendly surroundings and the design of the Cowshed club house epitomises our ethos of providing a unique and fun experience combined with exceptional value.

The bank first supported me back in 2007 when I completed the management-buy-out of the golf club and I am delighted to return to the bank as a customer.
