Legal firm Forbes Solicitors has opened a new 8,000 sq ft office in Central Lancashire to cater for the growth of the business and increased demand for its services.

The new premises, at Gordon House, Walton Summit, will be in addition to the firm’s existing six offices in Lancashire and its offices in Leeds, Manchester and Salford.

Forbes chief executive, Oliver Burton, said the expansion was part of the firm’s focus on continued growth and investment in the future and was a glowing endorsement of the hard work and dedication shown by everyone at Forbes.

The Gordon House office is across two floors and provides a modern and dynamic working environment for 80 of the firm’s 370 staff.

A number of the firm’s nationally-recognised teams will be based at the office, including housing & regeneration, and education & employment, headed by Jonathan Holden.

Mr Burton said: “Our clients tell us that we stand out from other firms and, across the board, we have built a reputation for excellent service and being passionate about getting the best results.

“It is this ethos which has led to an increase in demand for our services and the need for this new base.

“We are excited about the move and the opportunities for further success it opens up across the business.”

Neil Weaver, of Lancashire Chartered Surveyors Taylor Weaver, acted on behalf of Forbes.
