Kitchen retailer invests £500k into extensive showroom upgrade

The revamped Aintree showroom

Retail chain Wren Kitchens has invested more than £500,000 in an extensive facelift at its Aintree showroom in Liverpool, leading to several new jobs.

The showroom has undergone a three-month extensive upgrade and now encompasses more than 55 kitchens on display.

The work has led to the creation of four jobs – three kitchen designers and one kitchen surveyor – taking the showroom’s headcount to more than 30 staff.

Located on Ormskirk Road, the transformed showroom now contains the largest kitchen appliance centre in the North West where people can learn the benefits before buying with an interactive display.

The ground-level has an additional 21 kitchen displays from charming country to edgy industrial and ultra-modern designs.

Plus, the huge mezzanine floor now incorporates two virtual reality rooms where kitchens come to life in 3D, smart-assist kitchens that control appliances and lighting through voice commands and two inspirational design studios for interior designers to create their client’s dream kitchen space.

“We’re over-the-moon with our brand-new look as it encompasses the very latest kitchen trends and innovations,” said Wren Kitchens Liverpool showroom manager, Brian Robinson.

“It’s been radically transformed to a sophisticated hub that we’re confident will become the North West’s number one destination for designing a tailored kitchen.

“It now showcases a vast range of inspirational designs, colours, storage solutions, handles, appliances and worktops, to name a few – the possibilities are endless.”

There are also six new child-friendly play zones to keep youngsters occupied, as well as family-safe kitchens on display to help avoid accidents in the hub of the home.

Wren designs, manufactures and delivers more than 2,000 kitchens a week.
