Motorists warned to expect delays following two incidents on M60 motorway

Motorists are being warned to avoid the M60 in the Stockport area following two collisions.

One lane is closed clockwise between junction 27, for Portwood Roundabout, and junction one, for Stockport Pyramid.

A second incident took place near junction one, for Stockport Pyramind, involving two cars.

Highways officials said motorists can expect delays of around 40 minutes.

Drivers are being advised to find alternative routes.

A tweet from Highways England said: “A lane closed on the M60 clockwise between the exit and entry slip roads at J1 TravisBrow Stockport due to a collision. Please take extra care passing through this location.

“Delays are expected.”
