Pizzaluxe set to open at Manchester Arndale’s Halle Place
M&G Real Estate and intu, joint owners of the Manchester Arndale retail centre, have announced that PizzaLuxe will be joining the line-up at its casual dining destination, Halle Place.
The popular pizza restaurant has agreed a 2,000 sq ft location on a 10-year lease.
PizzaLuxe started life as a market stall in London’s Brick Lane, and now has restaurants in Leeds and Manchester Airport, among other locations.
The restaurant, which will be located at the corner plot, opposite Archie’s and ShoeZone, is due to open this Summer and will serve freshly-made deluxe pizzas, breakfast pizzas and breakfast bowls, as well as artisan coffee, cocktails and soft drinks, together with an assortment of dessert offerings.
Other brands including Archie’s, Barburrito and Wolf Italian are all trading well since opening within the recently refurbished Halle Place, which, the centre owners say, is fast becoming one of Manchester’s most eclectic casual dining destinations.
Scott Linard, director of asset management at M&G Real Estate, said on behalf of the joint owners: “Halle Place already offers a variety of culinary styles, which is testament to Manchester Arndale’s prominent location and all-day offer.
“We see PizzaLuxe as the perfect addition to this exciting dining mix and are looking forward to announcing more exciting new restaurants in the near future.”

“PizzaLuxe is ideal for office workers looking for a delicious, speedy lunch, alongside shoppers that want a quick bite to eat. We’re looking forward to introducing visitors to Manchester Arndale to our super-fast, super-thin pizzas and bespoke cocktails.”
Manchester Arndale is one of the UK’s largest city centre shopping malls, welcoming more than 40 million visitors per annum. It already boasts an impressive line-up of more than 200 shops and restaurants, including national, international and local brands.
Last year, Manchester Arndale let more than 95,000 sq ft of space to its retail, food and beverage and leisure occupiers.
Specsavers and Foot Locker moved into a larger units, where they plan to develop new flagship regional stores.
AllSaints also committed to a new 10-year lease on a new unit in the centre, following several years of strong trading on Market Street.
Uniqlo last year opened its flagship store for the North at Manchester Arndale, while makeup brand, Morphe, opened its first store in the city at the centre.
Manchester Arndale is owned jointly by M&G Real Estate and intu. The retained agents are Time Retail Partners and Metis Real Estate Advisors.
