A Manchester-based translation and language services provider is looking to complete a string of acquisitions over the next five years.

The Translation People has just completed its latest acquisition and rebrand and is looking to double its revenue to £11m over the next five years.

Following the acquisition of Cicero Translations, The Translation People has now fully completed the transition which saw Cicero change its trading name and branding to The Translation People on 1st March 2020, making it the provider’s fifth office within the UK.

The firm, which has offices in Manchester, Birmingham, Glasgow and London, targeted Cicero for its established presence in the financial and legal sectors – industries the business has identified as opportunities for growth.

Based in Tunbridge Wells, Cicero’s revenues will add 12 per cent to The Translation People’s annual income.

Clients that have migrated from Cicero to The Translation People include PZ Cussons and Rentokil Initial.

Jasmin Schneider, managing director of The Translation People, said: “It’s been a smooth transition to integrate Cicero into The Translation People’s business.

“Together, we have helped to embed existing customers into The Translation People and are now able to provide them with a greater range of services, with a more technological offering than they received previously.

“Since working together, we have also brought on a wealth of new clients, all of which we look forward to building even stronger relationships with.

“Cicero shared our working methods, ethos and values, and as soon as we met the team, we knew we would come together seamlessly. The process has been efficient for customers and employees alike, and now the acquisition and rebrand is complete we look forward to making our new presence in the South East even more well known.”
