A MediaCityUK cosmetic dental practice is targeting £1.5m of revenues this year.

Dental, which opened in MediaCityUK in 2011, achieved a turnover of £1.1m last year and, with an average spend per patient of £2,500, is forecasting further growth in 2020.

It says it is one of the most successful non-media companies within the Salford development. It has increased its team from just three in 2011 to 13, so far, treating more than 8,000 patients in the nine years since opening in MediaCityUK.

Owned by husband and wife duo Hitesh Panchal and Deepa Vakil, Dental says it offers a holistic and customer-focused service within a relaxed and comfortable environment where their promise is to go beyond routine dentistry.

The practice aims to bring dentistry to their patients in a relaxed and comfortable manner and is able to do so by using relaxation techniques such as homeopathy or sedation.

It is the fastest growing Invisalign clinic in the Greater Manchester area and one of a small number with Diamond Status, received for treating more than 150 patients with Invisalign in a 12-month period.

Invisalign offers teeth straightening with nearly invisible braces.

Deepa said: “We knew from the start we wanted to base ourselves within MediaCityUK as it’s such a vibrant hub with a huge amount of footfall.

“It’s been fantastic to play a part in the area’s development over the last nine years and we’re looking forward to what the future will bring for Dental at MediaCityUK.

“Our aims for 2020 include adding a fourth surgery within the practice and expanding the team in line with the residential and commercial expansion of MediaCityUK.”

Hitesh’s areas of dental expertise include cosmetic, restorative and orthodontic fields.

He has been recognised at the Aesthetic Awards for Best Patient Smile and has been shortlisted for the best young dentist in the North West.

Hitesh said: “The main areas of growth for Dental have been implant dentistry, smile makeovers and Invisalign as we’ve seen a trend in the nation’s awareness and desire for the ‘perfect smile’.

“We’re so pleased with how the business has progressed and how we’ve helped our patients to achieve their vision. The team started off as just three when we first opened, and we now employ 13 staff, with a view to growing more in the upcoming 12 months.”
