Digital technology firm acquires new business

Telecoms and fibre infrastructure firm, Telcom Group has acquired SDH Project Services  for an undisclosed amount.

The Manchester-based business, via its three divisions provides telecommunications infrastructure, business and household high speed internet access and. efficient in building connectivity solutions (NODE). Through this latest strategic acquisition it is looking to  strengthen its ability to deliver the necessary infrastructure as quickly as possible.

Doug Ward, joint CEO of the group will now head the infrastructure division of the business which will include the acquired SDH Project Services.

Christopher Baldock, chairman of Telcom said: “I am delighted that we have been able to bring SDH Project Services within the Telcom Group. We shall be working with the team, our key suppliers and customers in order to scale up our capacity as rapidly as possible.”
