Sale Sharks sign two year deal with estate agent

Sale Sharks have signed a new two-year deal with Manchester-based estate agents homes4u, coinciding with the firm’s 30-year anniversary.

The firm has been an official Sale Sharks partner for four years and the new agreement ties the two Manchester brands together until 2022.

The announcement comes as the firm celebrates 30-years of business in the region, having been matching people with property since 1990 and catering for a range of needs in Greater Manchester property market.

Mark Cueto, commercial director at Sale Sharks, said: “Homes4u are a great partner and one that we always have a lot of fun with, creating content and getting the players involved in lots of different activities to help raise the profile of the brand.

“It is great to have some positive news to shout about, given the ongoing situation with match postponements, but we’re continuing to work hard behind the scenes to ensure our commercial partners are happy and are ready to pick things up again when everything returns to normal.”

The Manchester-based estate agent is a key partner at the Premiership Rugby side and has, in recent years, joined the club in creating fun content for the Sale Sharks’ social media channels; including special carpool karaoke videos and a Halloween prank with a host of first-team players.

Andrew Mellor, partner development manager at homes4u, said: “We’re really pleased to announce the continuation of our partnership with Sharks. It’s a partnership that adds a lot of value for us as a Manchester business and there is no better club to align ourselves with on a long-term basis.

“We have activated the partnership in some really creative ways and that reflects our customer-focused attitude to our work – we can’t wait to do more of that moving forward.”

Sale Sharks have also agreed an extension to their commercial partnership with printer e-tailer, Printerland.

Altrincham-based Printerland have been a long-standing partner of the club having first agreed a deal back in 2004 to sponsor the Cheadle End of Sale’s former home ground at Edgeley Park, before becoming official Family Stand sponsors at the AJ Bell Stadium in 2016.

Mark Cueto, Sale Sharks’ Commercial Director and former player said: “Printerland have connected with Sale Sharks for a long time and I’m really pleased they’ve renewed with us again this year.

“They’re a great partner with strong roots in the North West, and their corporate values really align to everything we are trying to achieve at Sale.

“The renewed deal allows us to continue to give back to the local community and deliver Printerland’s inclusivity programme on their behalf at every home game. We can’t wait to see what the new season holds, and we look forward to this partnership continuing for years to come.”

Graham Vickers, MD and co-founder of Printerland, said, “We place a lot of value in our ongoing partnership with Sale Sharks, and we’re very proud to continue our sponsorship of the Family Stand.

“The link up with Sale is fantastic for our brand and our staff really value the partnership, but as a business we take the most pride in the community work.

“Working with the club and its Community Trust has allowed us to use the sport of rugby to bring people together, and we love seeing the different charities and community groups that get to enjoy watching a Sale game with some of our tickets.”
