Manchester law firm Kuits has strengthened its private client offering with the hire of partner Elaine Roche into its tax and estate planning team.
Experienced in working alongside families to structure their business and personal affairs, Elaine has more than 15 years’ experience of advising on wills and tax structuring, joining the firm from JMW.
Elaine also has significant expertise in relation to trust and estate administration, charity creation and registration and lasting powers of attorney.
Additionally, she is a board director of Solicitors for the Elderly, and a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and the Private Client Section of the Law Society.

Altrincham-based Myerson Solicitors has appointed commercial litigation specialist Sven Clarke to join its commercial litigation team.
Sven joins the firm as legal director from Layton’s in Manchester, where he was a partner within the commercial litigation department.
He brings with him 15 years of experience with the ability to handle complex legal matters within areas including commercial litigation, professional negligence, debt recovery and insolvency work.

His arrival comes at a time of rapid growth for Myerson, bringing the experienced commercial litigation team to 11 lawyers, including three partners.

Gallagher has welcomed two new members to its Liverpool-based team as the insurance broker continues to strengthen the support of its growing client base in the region.
Gallagher’s Liverpool office, based on Sefton Street, is now home to close to 60 risk management and insurance specialists.
The team looks after a diverse portfolio of clients, ranging from some of the North West’s largest corporations through to small- and mid-sized local businesses, with specialisms including marine, medical malpractice and renewable energy insurance.
Garry Roberts joins the team as corporate broker, bringing more than 30 years’ insurance experience. In his new role Garry will be supporting and advising corporate clients on their risk and insurance requirements, including some of the North West’s most prominent businesses.

With more than 13 years’ industry experience Corinne will be responsible for new business development alongside managing existing key relationships in the areas of professional indemnity, management liability and trustee liability.
