Lab firm takes big chunk of Waterside office space

Hall Analytical, a specialist in product testing, has taken 21,410 sq ft of space at Waterside, a 48,000 sq ft office scheme in Altrincham.

The property was recently purchased and has been comprehensively refurbished by the owner, PIN Property.

Hall Analytical has fitted out high specification laboratories and bespoke offices, working in conjunction with M3 Construction.

The remaining 18,000 sq ft of office space at Waterside is being marketed by joint leasing agents Williams Sillitoe and JLL and provides high quality Grade A offices with fitted kitchens, showers and cycle facilities.

Phil Meakin, leasing and development manager at PIN Property, said: “Securing Hall Analytical prior to completing the wider refurbishment is testament to the location, adaptability and quality of the building.

“We are in discussions with a number of occupiers and anticipate that the remaining 18,000 sq ft will let up soon, given the quality of the refurbishment.”

Waterside is located near adjoining Moor Road Metrolink station off the A560 Altrincham Road, approximately seven miles south of Manchester city centre. Manchester Airport and Altrincham are both 10 minutes’ drive away.
