Liverpool property firm Venmore Group has relocated its head office to a new site as part of an expansion for the 171-year-old business.

After years of trading from its Dale Street office in the city centre, the company has moved to Prospect House, in Columbus Quay, a modern and open space that boasts incredible views across the River Mersey.

Coinciding with the group’s ongoing growth and increased headcount over the past few years, relaunch of its property management service, expansion of its financial services arm and selling more properties on Merseyside than any other agent, it says, the move to the near 13,000 sq ft building is seen as the beginning of a new era for the company.

Founded in 1849, The Venmore Group now boasts eight offices across the region with property services including residential sales, lettings, auction, financial services, survey and commercial consultancy.

Chairman, Paul Lea, said: “The opportunity to purchase an office building with incredible views and, more importantly, 48 car parking spaces, doesn’t come along very often.

“The property will house our head office and auction teams whilst the rest of the space will be let to local businesses on very competitive rent levels.

“We have already started discussions with several companies and expect the building to be fully let by September 2020.”

He added: “It is our view that a post-COVID world will see more agile and imaginative use of space, so the fully-refurbished building will have breakout rooms, flexible working spaces and, of course, it’s a very quick commute into the city centre.”

Melanie Morris, solicitor at Bermans, assisted Venmore Group.
