Law firm Addleshaw Goddard has revealed that 89% of its current cohort of trainees will be qualifying into newly-qualified roles within the firm in September.

The group of 33 trainees will all qualify into roles in the firm’s real estate, finance and projects, litigation and corporate and commercial divisions across its Leeds, Manchester, London, Scotland, Dubai and Oman offices.

Included in this figure are all seven of the Manchester trainees.

One trainee will also be qualifying into its award-winning innovation and legal technology team – the firm’s dedicated department combining legal expertise and technology to enable the smart delivery of legal services.

John Joyce, Addleshaw Goddard’s managing partner, said: “Our graduate recruitment team has worked incredibly hard in recent months to ensure that, during what has been a difficult time for the legal industry as a whole, we continue to support the next generation of legal talent, something which is evident in these great retention figures.

“All 33 trainees have displayed incredible talent and a quality of work that fits with the high standards we set for our clients, so I am very excited to welcome them into their new roles, in which I have no doubt they will continue to thrive and bring enormous value to the firm and its clients.”
