Building a special relationship between India and Leeds City Region
Building on the successful launch of the Northern Asian Powerlist 2020 recently, TheBusinessDesk.com, Squire Patton Boggs and Leeds City Region in partnership with the Northern Asian Powerlist will present a webinar looking at the special relationship between India and the UK’s largest city region economy outside of London.
The free to attend event will feature special guest Dr Shashank Vikram, Consul General of India, alongside Roger Marsh OBE DL, chair Leeds City Region Enterprise Partnership and the NP11, Professor Roopinder Oberoi the founder of the Centre for Innovation and Social Enterprise, University of Delhi and Jason Walsh, chief executive, CPP Group.
They will be joined by Andrew Walker, director,Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories, Hannah Kendrick head of corporate in the Leeds office of Squire Patton Boggs, and Satrajit Saha, regional president, TransUnion Europe; to discuss the opportunities which exits to both strengthen the existing links between the two locations and to develop new partnerships.
The session will consider the special relationship between India and the UK and the living bridge as well as the opportunities for trade which will exist post-Brexit. It will also address how the Consul General can support business growth and what opportunities there are for innovation.
