New venue starts recruitment drive for 120 staff ahead of Spring opening

A new venue set to open in Manchester next year is recruiting 120 hospitality staff.

London bar, live music venue and Barbecue restaurant, The Blues Kitchen, is one of the most anticipated openings planned in Manchester, for Spring 2021.

The venue will begin hiring in January 2021 and is seeking a variety of roles to be filled, including management and supervisory positions, kitchen, restaurant and bar staff, as well as reservations and sales.

In addition to all these positions there will be more jobs created for security and cleaners.

Steve Ball chief executive of the Columbo Group that The Blues Kitchen is part of, said: “Manchester is renowned for its buzzing restaurant, bar and music scene and that is because of the people that work in the hospitality industry in the city.

“We are delighted to be able to provide employment prospects for those who have been affected by the pandemic.”

The Blues Kitchen will take over 13 Quay Street, just off Deansgate, bringing the sights, sounds and flavours of The American Deep South to Manchester.
