HR and H&S specialist in swoop for complementary business

Citation Group, the Manchester-based tech-enabled provider of outsourced HR and H&S compliance services, has acquired health and safety e-learning provider, iHASCO, for an undisclosed sum.

Established in 2007, iHASCO, based in Bracknell on the outskirts of London, provides more than 100 accredited e-learning courses in health and safety, HR compliance, business compliance, care certificates and management primarily for the SME market.

The business has seen rapid growth over the past 13 years due to a growing market, delivery of non-discretionary training content and a high-quality differentiated project.

With more than 40,000 clients, Citation provides businesses with subscription-based HR, H&S, compliance and certification services.

The company has nationwide coverage and also works with a range of partners including trade associations to insurance brokers and accountancy firms.

This transaction will support the business in its growth trajectory, combining the expertise of both businesses in the HR and health and safety compliance sectors.

Clearwater International advised iHASCO on its sale to Citation. its team consisted of partner Marcus Archer, director Mark Maunsell and associate director Jonathan Grant.
