Casual kebab joint Doner Shack joins Gloria Jean’s at Manchester Arndale

Casual kebab restaurant Doner Shack and coffee house chain Gloria Jean’s are the latest food and beverage signings to open in the Manchester Arndale.

Also joining them will be Pizza Luxe as the chain expands with its third site.

The trio will be based at Halle Place, the centre’s fast-growing food hub, which is also home to Archie’s, Barburitto and Wolf Street Food.

Doner Shack will sell a mix of ‘authentic’ kebabs using different ingredients – including halloumi, falafel, and chilli.

Pizza Luxe, known for its breakfast bowls, will serve freshly made deluxe pizzas.

Gloria Jean’s, which opened its first store in a small town outside of Chicago in 1979. now serves coffee in more than 50 countries around the world.

Scott Linard, portfolio director at M&G Real Estate, said: Halle Place is establishing itself as one of Manchester’s most popular casual dining destinations. Archie’s, Barburitto and Wolf Street Food already offer something unique, which is clearly attractive to our customers.

“The arrival of Doner Shack and Pizza Luxe will only add to the distinctive appeal of Halle Place to visitors.

“Gloria Jean’s is renowned for its high-quality coffee and beverages. It is a perfect destination for our customers to relax.

The centre has remained robust and resilient during 2020 and we are confident we will continue to add to our strong F&B offering throughout 2021 and beyond.”
