An online car sales specialist is creating 100 jobs at its Manchester operation.

Oodle Car Finance, recently named the 14th best small company to work for in Britain, is looking for local talent to fill 100 positions at its new office in City Tower, central Manchester.

The business, which has offices in London and Oxford, opened its North West location last year when it took 66 desks on the tower’s 24th floor.

Oodle Car Finance says it is on a mission to change the way people buy cars by building modern digital processes that bring the used-car market bang up to date.

The new positions involve various customer-facing roles that will help customers who are looking to find and finance a car.

Oodle was established in 2016 and has spent the past five years focusing on building a fun and vibrant team culture.

Perks at the company include free breakfasts and soft drinks, private healthcare, generous pension, mental health support and an established mentoring and training programme.

Celebrating inclusivity is crucial to Oodle’s values, it says, and staff can take part in its Lean-In women’s and diversity and inclusion company networks.

Employees also benefit from season travel ticket loans, a cycle-to-work scheme and a number of exciting social events, including its company-wide summer party, Oodlefest.

Chief executive, Jonathan Clayton, said: “To help us achieve our ultimate mission to create a best-in-class consumer experience, we are now looking for exceptional individuals to join our Manchester team.

“Everyone at Oodle has an input on how we develop and how we change the game.”

He said the company is seeking “outstanding people with buckets full of energy, desire, curiosity and a can-do attitude to thrive in a fast-paced and fun environment.”
