Agency back under one roof with move into city centre facilities

DMT's new home

Manchester paid advertising agency Digital Media Team has moved into co-working space WeWork on Manchester’s John Dalton Street.

The agency, which has been operating remotely since the pandemic began, moved into the new location on June 28.

The move marks an exciting milestone in the agency’s impressive growth, which has seen the staff headcount more than double in the past 12 months.

The WeWork office on Dalton Place is the perfect place for DMT to make the move back from remote working, the company said. The space offers the agency room to expand, with new flexible working options available for all staff.

It features breakout and meeting rooms, as well as many spaces for collaborative work.

Director, Darren Hughes, said: “Getting the whole squad back into the office was much needed. An unfortunate effect of DMT growing during lockdown meant that many new staff members hadn’t met their colleagues, apart from on team hangout calls, so it’s great to get the family all back together.

“The new space is a far cry from our old office in the NQ, we have moved from the classic mill-style space to a new and modern environment which, so far, seems to get the thumbs up from all the team. We’re also looking at additional space ready for the emergence of the DMT Academy in July.”

The DMT Academy will see the agency take on apprentices, helping develop young talent in the digital space.

Director Ben Young added: “I’m still blown away every day by what this group of people have achieved over the last 15 months of having to work from home. They’ve all played their part in what has been the most challenging and frightening, yet ultimately rewarding and successful, times for us as a company.

“We couldn’t wait any longer to get everybody back together and it was such an incredible feeling seeing our huge family pouring through the door of their plush new city centre gaff this morning.”

DMT works with key players in the eCommerce sector including Missy Empire, Forever Unique, Eatlean and Lullabelz.
