Emery Planning expanding operations with Cheshire office

Planning consultancy, Emery Planning, is expanding its operations with the launch of an office in Chester.

The new branch will serve Emery’s private and corporate clients in Cheshire West, Shropshire, the Wirral, and North Wales and will be headed up by associate director, Helen Leggett, with the support of director Alison Freeman and consultant planners Victoria Wood and Aaron Marrs.

The move follows the company’s MBO earlier this year and is part of a pro-active programme of expansion.

Emery Planning’s MD Stephen Harris said: “Our expertise and professionalism means we’re retained and recommended by our clients. As a result, we’ve enjoyed a sustained period of organic growth and represent private and corporate Clients located right across the UK.

“We have a concentration of Clients in Cheshire West and North Wales in addition to solid relationships with local architects, estate agents and land agencies. This new office will allow us to grow our business further in these areas whilst offering existing Clients and partners the convenience of a local office,” he adds.

The new Chester office will offer a comprehensive range of planning services from site appraisals and pre-application advice to planning applications and all types of appeals, in addition to environmental impact assessments and project management.

Helen added: “We take a Client-centric approach and work as a team, so the full arsenal of Emery’s planning expertise will be at their disposal. Clients can benefit from the combined experience of 19 consultants, many of whom have been in planning for over 20 years and are recognised experts in their field.”
