Council invites bids for development opportunity at Knowsley Business Park

A major commercial land development opportunity in Knowsley is being offered by the council.

Well located and forming the northernmost part of Knowsley Business Park, the site extends to 28.4 acre (11.49 ha).

The land has extensive frontage to North Perimeter Road and is primed for investment as a distribution or industrial site.

Strategically placed and well connected, the site enjoys great transport links regionally and nationally, with the M57 and A580 within easy reach.

Knowsley Business Park is one of the region’s largest industrial and business parks, hosting a wide range of international and national industrial and distribution companies.

The Liverpool Superport, one of Europe’s most advanced container terminals, is located within 10 miles.

Cllr Tony Brennan, Knowsley Council cabinet member for regeneration and economic development, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for developers or a company to invest in Knowsley.

“It is a major site of local and regional importance and of significant scale suitable for industrial and distribution uses so we are anticipating a very good response from the market which we know, from the enquiries we have already received, is very strong.”

He added: “The council continues to support the local economic recovery.”

Bids are due in by October 1.
