North West industrial park secures three new tenants, leaving just one unit vacant

Professional services firm JLL has secured three further lettings at Haydock Cross, on behalf of Mileway, a pan-European last mile logistics real estate company, totalling 46,647 sq ft.
PDS Transport, a logistics provider company, has acquired 21,372 sq ft in the industrial park on a 10-year lease. It is joined by lighting wholesaler Brightlightz, which has acquired 20,477 sq ft on a three-year lease, and Critical Business Solutions, a critical infrastructure electrical and life safety systems business which has taken 4,798 sq ft on a five-year lease.
This follows three lettings secured by Mileway in the Haydock area earlier in the year which equated to a total of 95,000 sq ft.
The industrial park is bolstered by its location, adjacent to the A580 East Lancashire Road and within one mile of the M6.
Only one unit remains vacant on the estate, N1, which extends to 17,785 sq ft available at a quoting rent of £6.50 per sq ft.
Robert Kos, industrial and logistics director at JLL, said: “Haydock has become an established hub for growing businesses in the North West.
“Equidistant to Manchester and Liverpool, it provides occupiers easy access to the North West and national road networks.”
David Deeley, senior asset manager at Mileway, said: We are very pleased to welcome several new customers to Mileway, who will all benefit from Haydock Cross’s excellent location with good access to the wider Manchester-Liverpool metropolitan area.”
JLL and B8 acted for the landlord.
